You are a caregiver and provide regular care to a loved one. Helping them is often seen as something natural, but this decision is not without consequences. This role also has an impact on your physical and mental health.
Agduc is here to support you
We recognize the importance of the caregiver’s role and the impact it can have on your health. That is why we offer a range of workshops and themed discussions to address topics such as the role of caregivers within the family and social circle, feelings of loneliness or isolation, the impact on quality of life (fatigue, work, etc.), and the reorganization of your personal, social, and cultural life.
In practice
Every two months, Agduc hosts a gathering where you can meet and talk with our psychologists and social workers. In addition to these events, you can reach out to organizations such as “Le Café des Aidants” or “La Maison des Aidants.”
There are also many informational sessions, hands-on training workshops, and home visits available to help and support you; please reach out to our teams.
Testimonials
What makes these encounters so special is the closeness and the human touch; we experience life in its most everyday and intimate form.
I find the group interesting; we all come from different backgrounds but share common challenges…
Just talking about it and feeling less isolated—it feels good
